PETALS:
For small petals:  1.  Cut 1 1/2" wide hand cut strips. It will save time if you wet the creased area
with a wet sponge then separate them. (Fig. 4)

            2.  Put wall paper paste on both sides, gather on one end and tear about 3/8"
long. (Fig.5)  ***Do not cut end with scissors. Hand cut (A),
                                  scissors cut (B). (Fig. 6)
                             3.  Lay each piece on a plate, let it dry. (Fig. 7)

For larger petals: 1.  Do the same way as small petals but make double, wall paper pasted Washi
paper and hand cut about 3/4" in length.
***Irregular size petals will make more interesting flowers instead of stamped
                                 out same size ones.

Figure 9
ASSEMBLY:
1. Put on a dab of white glue. (Fig. 8)
2. Attach to the underside of stamen. depending on the size of stamens and
petals, it will take a different number of petals.
**There are no rules about how many petals are needed for each, so go for
whatever makes you happy. Double layers of petals? Why not!
3. After it dries, use a thin strip of pasted Washi paper, cover the bottom side
    and stem. (Fig. 9)
COLORING:
After choosing the color of your choice, color from the center outwards, do not
saturate with water color!

***I like to leave an outer edge unpainted to give more contrast.
